How long will the results of the rhinoplasty last?
The results of rhinoplasty are permanent.
Where will my scar be, and what will it look like?
In closed rhinoplasty, you will have no visible scars. With open rhinoplasty, you will have a small scar on the underside of your nose, in the area between the nostrils. In most cases, the scar is very slight.
What are the risks of rhinoplasty?
Most of the risks of rhinoplasty are risks inherent in any surgical procedure. See the Risks section for information on the risks of surgical procedures in general, as well as risks more specific to the rhinoplasty procedure.
When can I resume normal activities?
That depends on the type of rhinoplasty procedure and the individual physiology of the patient. However, as a general rule, you can return to work within one to three weeks, and can resume the rest of their normal activities within about six weeks.
